The first time it was suggested to start before you’re ready a door opened for me. Four little words in Do The Work, a brilliant book by Steve Pressfield and everything changed.
I had been given permission to do.
Without worrying that every little detail was perfect.
To think and rethink, but not so much that it made me stop and linger and wait until I talked myself out of the doing. That’s the tendency perfectionists like me have and it was why his advice resonated with me. I’d been given permission to create without stressing over perfection.
It’s why I’m officially launching YOUR DIGITAL YOU – the blueprint – an onLine and onDemand course designed to improve your digital profile and build your personal brand today.
Even though I’m not quite ready.
If I waited until I was ready, there would be more gray hairs for my hair genius to hide then there already are.
If I waited until I was ready this might launch in 2025, in which case all the course materials would have to be updated because so much would have changed.
If I waited until I was ready, this might not mean so much.
Because it’s designed for right now.
This moment. This time.
Starting before you’re ready is scary.
Really scary.
It makes you want to go hide and live in a cave. Of course my cave would more likely be one you’d find in Santorini instead of the woods. If we’re picking caves here, let’s pick one by the beach. But I digress. That’s the sort of thing that happens when you’re afraid to start.
I’ve started before I was ready a few times now.
The one thing I notice each time is that it does not get any easier. It’s like speaking on a stage. You get better at it. You prepare and practice and each time you find one more word to change to make it better. You know it will be okay once you get started, but you never stop getting scared. You just figure out how to channel the anxious energy into movement instead of standing still.
The only way to make things easy is to not do.
To wait.
Until you’re ready.
Which could be never.
I don’t want to wait for never.
So I’m making this official.
YOUR DIGITAL YOU is officially open for enrollment.
I’m really proud of it. I think it will help a lot of people.
And the truth is – it is ready.
More than ready. It’s me who’s been wavering.
If you think it’s for you, please sign up. There is a special introductory rate.

I’d be most grateful.
Once last thing.
A huge shout out and thanks to the folks at Rainmaker. Without their learning management tools and wonderful customer support, this course would not be possible.
